Maltose Falcons Celebrate 50 Years with a Heartwarming Donation

Last October, the Maltose Falcons celebrated a remarkable milestone—our 50th anniversary! To mark this special occasion, we threw a grand party filled with laughter, memories, and a spirit of generosity. One of the highlights of our celebration was the auction and raffle we held to raise funds for a cause close to our hearts: the Sylmar Charter High School Agriculture Program

Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of our members and guests, we were able to raise an impressive $1,650 for the program. Our contribution was put to great use, allowing the school to purchase 24 yards of potting soil. This essential resource will support the students in growing a variety of crops, including tomatoes, fruit trees, hops, and many other vegetables.

The Sylmar High School Agriculture Program provides students with hands-on experience in horticulture and agriculture, fostering a deep appreciation for sustainable farming practices. Our donation not only helps the students in their educational journey but also strengthens our community’s commitment to sustainable agriculture.

We are incredibly proud of the impact our club can have, and we look forward to seeing the bountiful harvests that will result from our contribution. Here’s to another 50 years of brewing, camaraderie, and giving back to the community!
